ECO-WARRIORS

We have an Eco- Warriors committee made up of pupils from Year 2 to Year 6. Pupils were selected from a wealth of eco – enthusiast, who wrote letters of applications to the Eco Lead.

The Eco-Warriors meet regularly with Mrs. Wilby to discuss school priorities, and they play a pivotal role in coming up with fresh and exciting ideas to tackle current issues. For example, the children put together Power Points to share with the whole school, highlighting the problems of plastic pollution and how each one of us can make a difference to help to alleviate it. Some Eco- Warriors also met with a visiting Marine Biologist, who worked with the children to highlight the problems faced by our oceans.

The Eco – Committee are also dedicated to partaking in daily litter picks to ensure that our school environment is kept clean and tidy.
